# SmartMapped > SmartMapped turns a process description into a 3D isometric miniature world: stations (nodes) connected by paths, little figures (actors) that walk or drive along them carrying things (payloads), and a timeline that plays the process step by step. It runs entirely in the browser, is free, and is available in Dutch (default) and English. SmartMapped is meant for explaining processes to people: business workflows, logistics, customer journeys, software and network protocols, data pipelines and automations. A scene is a single JSON document, so an AI assistant can write one from a plain-language description and the user pastes it into the app. ## Use the app - [SmartMapped](https://smartmapped.com/): open the app; pick a ready-made flow or create a new one - Import a scenario: in the app choose "Nieuwe flow → Vanuit JSON" (New flow → From JSON) and paste the JSON, or open "JSON State Tree" and press Apply ## Scenario format - [Scenario prompt and JSON schema](https://smartmapped.com/scenario-prompt.md): the complete prompt that turns a process description into a valid SmartMapped scenario, including the schema (spaces, nodes, paths, actors, payloads, timeline with branches), all allowed values and a worked example. The prompt itself is in Dutch; JSON keys and fixed values are English and must never be translated. Key rules when generating a scenario: - Answer with exactly one ```json code block containing one JSON object; strict JSON, no comments. - Only readable text (name, label, sublabel, description, title, reply, timeLabel, branch label) may be in the user's language; every key and enum value stays literally as documented. - Choose a node's geometry by the role of the step, not the technology. Start at a trigger or person; end well at an end node and badly at a reject node. - Movement uses paths; calls, messages and lookups are signals without a path. - Keep the timeline to roughly 5 to 15 steps, each one understandable sentence. ## Built-in example flows Order with branching, job application, supplier to customer, ordering pizza, visiting the doctor, flying on holiday, paying by card, PET bottle recycling, fire emergency call, supermarket supply, n8n weekly report, shorting a stock, internet routing, OSI model, JPEG compression.
